Abstract Information

Important Dates for Abstract Submission

  • Last date for abstract submission – 1st July 2020
  • Notification of acceptance for oral or poster presentations – 15th August 2020

All presenters should be registered at the time of notification of acceptance for oral or poster presentation.

Participants interested in oral/poster presentations should submit their ABSTRACT by 1st July 2020.

Notification regarding acceptance of the submission along with the guidelines for presentation will be sent by 15th  August 2020.

GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS.

You are invited to submit informative abstracts of up to 300 words which should not include the title of the abstract and author affiliations. Abstracts should be submitted online only. No abstracts will be accepted or considered if sent by email or through any other means. The abstract may include one table or graph.

Abstracts must be submitted according to guidelines given below.

Abstract Title

Please write the title in Title Case (each main word has a capital letter). Do not use quotation marks.
e.g. The Results of the Research Case Study and Its Participants

Authors and Affiliations

The full names (no initials) of all participating authors (including yourself) must be included on the abstract. Please do not include degrees or professional titles. The name of the presenting author should be underlined.

Author Affiliations – please include the name of your organization, the city, the state, and the country. Use a superscript number to link each author with their affiliation.

Abstract Text

Abstracts that merely state the results that will be presented will be subject to rejection. All abstracts are subject to review by the Scientific Committee and acceptance into the program is not guaranteed. The Committee suggests that the abstract follow the format outlined below.

  • Aim
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusion

Conflict of Interest Statement

If the research described in the abstract was supported by a commercial company you must indicate the company’s role in analyzing the data or preparing the abstract.

One of the following must appear at the bottom of the abstract:

“No conflict of interest to disclose”.

“This research was supported by __________. The company had no role in analyzing the data or preparing the abstract.”

“This research was supported by __________. The company inserts free text describing company role in data analysis or abstract preparation.”

This conflict of interest statement is mandatory for all abstracts submitted and will appear wherever the abstracts are published. For oral presentations, a sample slide will be available to presenters for disclosure of conflicts of interest to be displayed as the first or second slide of their presentation

The abstracts must be submitted in one of the following sections:

  1. Leukemias
  2. Lymphoma/Myeloma
  3. Bone marrow failure syndromes including MDS.
  4. Infections
  5. Conditioning regimens
  6. GVHD
  7. Hemoglobinopathies, primary immune deficiency diseases and metabolic disorders.
  8. Pediatric transplantation
  9. Basic Science
  10. Allied (Nursing, technical aspects such as graft processing, cryopreservation, etc)

Congress registration is mandatory for presentation during the congress.

Submission of the abstract carries with it an obligation to present the accepted abstract in person without any change in scientific content during the allotted time in the above conference. Withdrawal of presentation should be intimated to the scientific committee on or before 15th  September, 2020.

If the application is not sent in the prescribed format, it will not be considered for scrutiny.

Preference for oral or poster presentation may be indicated at the time of submission of abstract though the final decision of the scientific committee will be binding.
